The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Account Executive, Direct Response Ad Sales to join our Advertising Sales team in our New York, NY location.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Generate significant revenue across AMC Networks' full advertising portfolio, including Linear TV, Streaming, CTV, Digital, Programmatic, Addressable, and Advanced Advertising solutions.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans focused on driving incremental revenue through new business acquisition, expansion of existing partnerships, and integrated cross-platform advertising solutions.
• Cultivate and leverage senior-level relationships with Direct Response, Performance Marketing, CTV, Programmatic, and Growth Marketing agencies, advertisers, trading desks, and advertising technology partners.
• Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across assigned agency and advertiser territories with a strong emphasis on prospecting, pipeline development, and market penetration.
• Build and sell custom sponsorship opportunities that integrate AMC Networks' premium content, tentpole programming, fan communities, streaming platforms, branded content, and experiential marketing assets.
• Create comprehensive cross-platform advertising solutions that combine Linear, Streaming, Digital, Data, Audience Targeting, and Measurement capabilities to meet advertiser performance objectives.
• Partner with Marketing, Research, Client Solutions, Programmatic, Pricing & Inventory, and Revenue Operations teams to develop innovative client-focused proposals and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Present AMC Networks' content portfolio, audience insights, data capabilities, sponsorship opportunities, and advertising solutions to senior decision-makers across agencies and brands.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, marketplace developments, emerging technologies, audience measurement solutions, and advancements within the Direct Response and Performance Marketing ecosystem.
• Provide accurate revenue forecasting, pipeline management, marketplace intelligence, and strategic account updates to Sales Management.
• Maintain strong internal and external relationships while ensuring all presentations and recommendations are supported by accurate data, research, and marketplace insights.
• Negotiate and close complex, multi-platform advertising agreements while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver successful client outcomes.
• Serve as a strategic ambassador for AMC Networks within the advertising community, representing the company at key industry events, conferences, and executive client engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years of Direct Response Advertising sales experience across Television, Streaming, CTV, Digital, Programmatic, or Performance Marketing environments.
• Demonstrated success generating multimillion-dollar revenue growth through both new business development and expansion of existing client partnerships.
• Extensive relationships with leading agency holding companies, independent media agencies, Direct Response agencies, Performance Marketing agencies, advertisers, DSPs, and advertising technology partners.
• Proven track record of selling integrated cross-platform advertising solutions and custom sponsorship programs.
• Deep knowledge of Linear Television, Streaming, CTV, Advanced TV, Programmatic Advertising, Audience Targeting, Attribution, and Measurement solutions.
• Strong understanding of the evolving media ecosystem and the convergence of television and digital advertising.
• Demonstrated success working within a highly accountable, goal-oriented sales environment while consistently exceeding revenue objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Strong executive presence with experience presenting to senior marketing, media, and procurement decision-makers.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence internal stakeholders across multiple business units.
• Highly organized with exceptional strategic planning, forecasting, and pipeline management capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Boostr, and other sales enablement tools.

The base compensation for this position is $160,000 - $190,000 commensurate with experience.
